Emmy says:
Wonderfully uplifting and hilarious, and great and cathartic look at life and living. 9/10.

Jeff says:
The main characters are delightful, and there’s clear chemistry between them as friends. Some of the secondary characters are a little too broadly drawn. Since coming to the realisation that this is effectively Sex and the City 30 years later, I’m struggling to know how to describe the film – because the comparison is unfair: this is much better than SATC. What I often struggle with is ‘humour’ in films that relies on a character being embarrassed … there was some of that here, but thankfully not much – and it’s not about other characters embarrassing them (it’s just the situation they find themselves in). The rest of the comedy was well paced and engaging. What I’m trying to say is that this was a lovely film, even for someone like me who is not the target demographic. 8/10.
