I never hated How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and apparently that puts me in the minority. Having said that, I think this is a much better version of the story for the intended audience. The Carrey version was a little too risque to be truly a kids’ film. This version doesn’t have that problem. From the perspective of an adult, this was like a pavlova: light, fluffy, a little too sweet, but really quite more-ish. The script was on point the animation was delightful, and it felt like a Dr Seuss story should. 9/10.
