Emmy says:
A myopic look at courtly manipulation. Beautiful costuming and interesting dialogue. I feel the fish-eye lens was overused, but did help with the feeling of only seeing a small part. 7/10.

Jeff says:
Decadence and scandal abound. I don’t know how accurate the story is, but it was filmed spectacularly. Use of wide angle and fish eye lenses add a warped perspective that fits perfectly. The use of silences and odd sounds further put the viewer on edge. Somewhat more accessible than The Lobster, but still a challenge to sit through. Almost the only sympathetic characters are the animals. Not your usual period drama, so be warned. 7/10.
