We couldn’t believe friends of ours had never seen this! Galaxy Quest is one of my favourite movies – it lampoons conventions, although lovingly, before conventions were really huge. The fanaticism of fans when the film was made was really only limited to a couple of shows (mostly Star Trek) which is why this is what it is. There was so much they got right – including things that hadn’t become common yet. A delight to watch, this one never gets old. 10/10.
