Emmy says: This is just magical. I love the entirety of this movie. The songs are amazing, the costumes fabulous, and the acting brilliant. I wish I’d seen this on stage. 10/10.
Jeff says: This is an incredible film. The scenes, costumes and choreography are top-notch. The songs are moving. The action is well-shot and well done. For those who have only seen Steve Martin’s Roxanne the ending will be a surprise, but it’s remarkably faithful in spirit to the original play even with the change to Cyrano’s ‘disfigurement’. Christian is very likeable, making the whole thing even more tragic, if that’s possible. Everyone should see this. 10/10.
