Emmy says: This was some good, light hearted fun, and enjoyable to watch. The characters were somewhat shallow though still well written and acted. The plot had a balanced amount of silliness and action. The scenery was gorgeous. 8/10.
Jeff says: This movie knows what it is, and doesn’t try to be anything else. Good fun with a formulaic plot that nevertheless manages to subvert tropes enough to avoid being boring. This sounds like faint praise, but it’s great if it’s what you’re feeling like watching. Comparing it to Romancing the Stone is understandable but unfair to both movies. I just wish the the mid-credit scene hadn’t ruined what happened with one particular character earlier in the film. 7/10.
