Emmy says: There were a lot of interestingly moving shots in this film, definately felt like a ride. Fun story with great looking fighting between the Titans. 8/10.
Jeff says: I had trouble getting into this film. I know the history of Godzilla films, I know this was an excellent reverential update on the source material. However, that was the problem. The setup was too fantastical to believe. The conflict in the title was effectively manufactured (it was all tell not show). It felt lazy and … well, stupid. What man is supposed to have constructed, and what’s supposed to be under our feet … we know better. This is no longer acceptable “science” fiction. 5/10.
