Emmy says: I think I have a new Christmas favourite. Absolutely loved the detail in Santa’s clothes, very much a medieval style, and just gorgeous. The characters did not require depth for this story to work and were played as mostly one note caricatures in an entertaining way. Then the action, stunning, just stunning. The pacing, the lighting and the choreography worked brilliantly. Can’t wait to watch this again. 10/10.
Jeff says: Best. Christmas. Movie. Ever. As MovieBob said, this is a really good feel good Christmas story AND a really good violent action film at the same time. Surprising pathos from the big red guy, and David Harbour was perfect in the role. We can stop arguing about whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas movie, just to be able to call it your favourite, because this beats it hands down. 10/10.
