Emmy says: Really enjoyed the story of this film, can definitely relate to feeling pressure from family to be a certain way. The songs were catchy and had me singing along. Laughed often and had a great time. 9/10.
Jeff says: I am clearly not the audience for this film. I had trouble relating to Mei Mei at the start – never having been a 13 year old boy-band obsessed girl. Once the story proper started, I was more invested – but I struggled to relate to anyone but the dad. Still, an excellent film that I really enjoyed. 8/10.
