Emmy says: I’ve heard that this movie was to be closer to the original comics that were a lot darker than the Batman we’ve come to know, and thankfully this does not feel Dark for the sake of a higher rating. Beautifully crafted with stellar actors fleshing out well written characters. The 3 hour run time did not feel excessive while watching as the pacing was expertly done. Really enjoyed this. 9/10.
Jeff says: Excellent work from all involved. A compelling story, good attention to detail, some nice fan service without being over the top. Sticking to the tried-and-true dealing-with-dead-parents-issues but in a new way. I still don’t know why anyone would want to live in Gotham, as described, but it was visually interesting for a film setting. I would like to see more of this story. 9/10.
